Project Overview
Making Cents adapted its market assessment and value chain analysis curriculum methodologies for Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Niger to teach youth the skills to analyze the market for business trends, how to stay abreast of changing consumer demand, and recognize ways to transform challenges into opportunities through local training organizations. The Market Opportunities curriculum introduced entrepreneurship and business skills concepts and led youth through the process of identifying promising business sectors and activities, starting or expanding their businesses, and developing long-term goals for growing their enterprises.
